In this paper, experimentally investigated results are utilized to establish the relationship between various input parameters of EDM, namely peak current (Ip), pulse on-time (Ton), duty Cycle (τ) and gap voltage (Vg), and machining characteristics e.g. surface finish, electrode wear rate and material removal rate. The experimentally investigated results were obtained during machining of OHNS die steel using 8 mm diameter of copper electrode on EDM. The Taguchi method, a powerful tool in the design of experiments is utilized to optimize the parametric combiriation of EDM for effective machining of OHNS die steel. AL18 (21 × 37) mixed orthogonal array is used for 34 factorial design, and analysis of variance is employed to investigate the influence of the EDM parameters on the surface finish, electrode wear rate and material removal rate. The mathematical models for different machinability criteria are developed to investigate the influence of cutting parameters during machining. Confirmation test results proved that the developed mathematical models are appropriate for machining of OHNS die steel by EDM.- Analysis of Cutting Speed and Surface Roughness Through WEDM Operation on E0300 Alloy Steel Using Anova
